About the author

J.G. Gardner has a Ph.D. in Microbiology and is a scientist researching new ways to treat fungal infections. While having published many technical papers on genetics and biochemistry, he has always wanted to write novels about magic, wizards, and dragons. His two high fantasy books, The Magic of Deceit (2024) and The Path From Regret (2023) were published by Apprentice House Press.
